I’d seen many of his films over the years, and have long been a fan of his work. I also know several actors who’ve worked with him, who rave about what a great guy and great actor he is. So when I heard he’d been cast as Bill I was ecstatic because he’s so good.
Barry exceeded my expectations. What a great partner he was to work with on this film. He works so hard, he’s so giving. On the days when we were shooting the heavy scenes, it’s as if we were standing together on the edge of a cliff, ready to jump - but he always made me feel safe. On those same challenging days, Barry never lost his sense of humour. He could always make us laugh, and that was worth gold.
